The New England Patriots are hoping to convince Tom Brady to stay in 2020. Julian Edelman is definitely doing his part. Nearly two weeks until free agency begins, Edelman sent the Boston Celtics t-shirts, campaigning for Brady to stay in New England.

Last weekend, Edelman was seen with Brady at a men's basketball game that featured Syracuse and North Carolina. While the teams that were playing are irrelevant, Edelman exclaimed the words “he's coming back” with Brady sitting next to him.

Then, some people assumed that he mouthed the words ‘he's not' in accordance with Edelman's humorous comments. However, after audio leaked of the conversation, Brady responded with “he's got it” as he was answering some else's question.

Just a few days after attending the game together, Edelman revealed that he created a shirt in hopes to keep Brady with the Patriots. As you can see in Edelman's most recent Instagram post, the message on the shirt is loud and clear.

Since coming into the NFL in 2009, Edelman hasn't had a starting quarterback besides Brady. Therefore, he's going to do everything he can to make sure that doesn't change anytime soon. In their 11 seasons together, they've connected on 599 passes for 6,507 yards and 36 touchdowns.

Even though Brady and Edelman are viewed as just teammates, they are close friends off of the field too. Regardless of their friendship, Brady seems determined to test free agency for the first time in his career. On the other hand, Edelman is trying to make sure that Brady ends his career in Foxborough.
