The New England Patriots are set to take on the Buffalo Bills in a battle of undefeated teams. Both teams are 3-0 so far this season and both teams have yet to play any major competition so far this year. That will change this week, as the winner will sit alone atop the AFC East division.

According to a report from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, New England star Julian Edelman will play after dealing with a chest injury all week. He did mention, however, that Edelman could see a limited snap count depending on how he feels throughout the game.

Hopefully, Edelman will end up feeling fine and will be able to shoulder his full workload. Tom Brady could certainly use him against a Bills' defense that is more than capable of making plays.

New England moved on from Antonio Brown and some think that they will end up having depth issues at wide receiver should Edelman be forced to miss any amount of time. Josh Gordon and Phillip Dorsett are the two wide receivers that would be asked to step up if Edelman has to sit out at all this week.

Edelman has caught 17 passes for 196 yards and a touchdown so far this season. He hasn't put up insane production, but he is the definition of consistent for Brady and the Patriots.

Buffalo and New England will kick off at 1:00 p.m. EST at New Era Field. Make sure to tune in to find out which AFC East team will remain undefeated at the final whistle.
