One of the final images of Tom Brady's illustrious run with the New England Patriots was that of Tennessee Titans cornerback Logan Ryan scampering into the end zone off of a pick-six to seal a victory in the AFC Divisional round. Ryan, a former Patriot from 2013-16, said that Brady reached out to him afterwards, and gave further insight to where he keeps that specific ball.

“Tom reached out to me after the game (against the Patriots) on Instagram,” Ryan said Thursday morning during an appearance on Good Morning Football on the NFL Network. “He DM'ed me and said, ‘congrats.' He's happy for me. He hated that it had to happen to him. Why couldn't I drop both of [my interception chances]? Why did I have to catch one? We've got a great relationship. It's all love in the game. He's a great competitor and he respects me for my play. But that's just something I had to do to help us win. That ball is on a mantle. My kids play with a lot of my interception balls laying around. But that one, they can't touch. That one's on my mantle.”

Ryan had four interceptions for the Titans during the regular season last year, but none were bigger than the one off of Brady and the Patriots that cinched the team's spot in the AFC Championship Game.

Currently a free agent, it's unknown if Ryan will face-off against Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. But after four years as teammates, arguably the most lasting image may be the one that Ryan delivered to end the Patriots' 2019 campaign.
