New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones had some heartwarming comments about some of his Patriot teammates.

He made comments about Jakobi Meyers, who scored his first NFL touchdown today. Jones also made comments about Hunter Henry. Both seem to be two of his best friends not only on the field for the Patriots but off the field, too.

“Jakobi is a great player and a great team player and teammate…We’re really happy to be able to play together and hopefully we play together for a long time.”

“With the red zone, we have a great plan with Josh. My job is to get it to the person who’s open. Hunter has a really good feel for red zone offense.”

The Patriots have been playing some good football as of late and it looks like New England is starting to figure it out again. They blew out the Cleveland Browns 45-7 and improved to 6-4 on the year. The Patriots have now won four in a row including wins over the Los Angeles Chargers and the Browns. New England will take on the Atlanta Falcons next week in a game that they should win as they try to inch closer to first place in AFC East.

Mac Jones had an impressive game where he went 19-23 for 198 yards and three touchdowns. If New England gets into the playoffs anything can happen as they've proved that for the last decade. Even without Tom Brady there, they're still a team to watch out for come playoff time.
