While the defense of the New England Patriots has been historically good, the offense has been sporadic this season. Even with the struggles of the offense, New England is not interested in an Antonio Brown reunion, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Back in September, the Patriots signed Brown after his shocking release from the Oakland Raiders. The All-Pro wide receiver spent two weeks with New England, appearing in one game, before the team parted ways with him.

The Patriots released Brown due to the troubled wide receiver being accused of sexual assault by his former trainer. Over the past couple of months, the NFL has been investigating into the matter.

While the NFL continues gathering information, Brown remains in free agency. Provided that, any team can sign the 31-year-old wide receiver. But it's unlikely anyone does before the NFL reaches a resolution with his case.

The Patriots could use a dynamic playmaker in their offense as they've been incapable of consistently scoring points. Currently, New England is relying on a receiving corps that includes Julian Edelman, Mohamed Sanu, Phillip Dorsett, and rookie N'Keal Harry.

In Brown's one game with the Patriots, he made his presence felt as he caught four passes for 56 yards and a touchdown. Additionally, Brown has recently apologized for how he has acted in recent months.

The apology likely came at a time where Brown was hoping to show teams that he's remorseful of his actions. While it may entice some teams to express interest in him, the Patriots won't be one of them.
