The New England Patriots have been under fire since the Cincinnati Bengals accused them of videotaping their sideline during last week's game against the Cleveland Browns. As a result, New England has suspended the videographer who was involved in the controversy per Ben Volin.

Since the accusations were made, the NFL has been gathering information and the video that the videographer captured to investigate the matter. At first, New England said that the videographers were present at the game while they were recording a video for their feature called “Do Your Job”.

Bill Belichick has denied having any knowledge of what was being done by the video team. Nevertheless, this situation feels eerily similar to the situation that occurred in 2007-2008. Back then, the Pats were fined and stripped of their first-round pick for videotaping the New York Jets' sideline.

This time around, the footage of the Patriots' video was leaked during the pre-game show on Fox Sports. The video shows the videographer pointing the camera towards Cincinnati's sideline.

Then, a Bengals' employee was able to catch the Patriots' videographer in the act. The conversation between the two was interesting, to say the least.

The videographer for the Pats has been a longtime employee of Robert Kraft and the franchise. Therefore, assumptions have been made that the team's owner is connected to this unfortunate affair.

It remains to be seen if the NFL chooses to hand down a punishment to the Patriots' organization. Regardless of what the NFL does, New England has enforced their own discipline for his wrongdoing.
