The New England Patriots snuck out another win in Week 12, with a 13-9 victory over the Dallas Cowboys at Foxboro. That was their 21st straight win at home. What's crazy about that stat, is it only ties their franchise record.

Winning 21 consecutive games is a lot. Even for a great team with great home-field advantage, that's unprecedented. That's more than two full-season slates of home games right there.

If you want to get even more of a perspective, the Washington Redskins won a home game in Week 12 as well. That snapped a nine-game losing streak at FedEx Field (their home stadium) for Washington.

Right there shows a major difference between great franchises and bad ones.

It also shows how consistently dominant the Patriots have been. There is a reason this is a team that is always in Super Bowl contention. They rarely lose at home.

That means they're getting a lot of wins in the regular season. And when they get into the playoffs, that home-field advantage is even more prominent for them.

New England is going to have a chance to break their franchise record in Week 14. After a Week 13 matchup with the Houston Texans in Houston, they face off with the Kansas City Chiefs the next week back in New England.

With that win, the Patriots also moved to 10-1 on the year. And they still have three more home games on their schedule in 2019. So you can go ahead and guess that they'll be winning a few more of those at the very least.

That makes it look like this will once again be a team with Home Field Advantage all the way up to the Super Bowl. And I think we know just how good the Patriots are at home, they're proving it to us weekly.
