It has been a tough, trying season for the New England Patriots, but, at the very least, it will result in another AFC East division title after their victory over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon.

This marks the Patriots 10th straight AFC East crown. They have also won the division in 15 of the last 16 years. The one year they didn't win? When Tom Brady tore his ACL in 2008.

New England's dominance has been the stuff of legends. Now, to be fair, the AFC East has historically been a weak division during the Pats' run, but hey; 10 straight division titles is 10 straight division titles no matter how you slice it.

With the win over the Bills, the Patriots improved to 10-5 on the year and are also still in the running for a first-round bye in the AFC.

All of that being said, in spite of the fact that New England just clinched the division, the win over Buffalo was hardly pretty.

Brady, whose recent sluggish performances have been a hot topic over the last week, completed just 13 of his 24 passes for 126 yards, a touchdown and an interception, and tight end Rob Gronkowski did not even record a catch.

With Gronkowski barely a shell of himself, Julian Edelman aging and Josh Gordon now gone, Brady has very limited options in the passing game, which, coupled with his apparent decline, is not a good sign for the Patriots going forward.

New England will wrap up its regular season at home against the New York Jets next weekend.
