The New England Patriots announced the team's rookie numbers for the first preseason game and there is one that stands out. That would be N'Keal Harry wearing number 10, the same number that Josh Gordon wore when he was with the team last year.

Gordon wore number 12 when he was a part of the Cleveland Browns, but switched to number 10 because 12 was already taken by Tom Brady.

For practice, the team started the rookies at number 50 and assigned by draft position. That meant Harry was wearing number 50 and Joejuan Williams, the second-round pick was wearing number 51.

Now with the teams first preseason game right around the corner, wide receivers aren't allowed to wear number 50, so a change had to be made.

Harry picking number 10 as his number could mean a lot or could mean very little. Gordon just recently applied for reinstatement, and with the team giving out his number does that mean they don't think he will be back? Or is the team just giving up numbers and if Gordon comes back soon, Harry will be forced to change his number?

Another notable number given out to a rookie was to quarterback Jarrett Stidham, who picked number four. Stidham is known as a bit of gunslinger, and one of the best quarterbacks of all time also known as a gunslinger wore number four in Brett Favre.

The Patriots take on the Detroit Lions on Thursday night in the teams first preseason game and there will be a lot of eyes on Harry and Stidham.
