The shorter postseason is putting plenty of New England Patriots on edge. That would be due to Tom Brady's uncertain future. Patriots fans are wondering where Brady is going to play his football next season.

No one has a clear clue on what the seasoned quarterback will do. And his camp is doing a fantastic job of keeping their mouth shut about Brady's future. Former NFL punter Pat McAfee recognizes just how well the veteran QB is handling his impending free agency.

McAfee commented on ESPN's “Get Up” with how happy he is with how the six-time Super Bowl winner has handled his free agency.

“I think Tom Brady has played this season perfectly. He has maestroed this thing. Every single word that he said — even going back to postgame press conferences after games this season — has been completely cerebral,” McAfee said. “He asked out of his contract after 20 years, says he wants to control his destiny.”

Brady Won't Have Shortage of Suitors

Brady ended his 2019 campaign on a sour note after failing to get past the Tennessee Titans in their Wild Card loss. Moreover, TB12 looked inconsistent despite finishing the year with 4057 passing yards and 24 touchdowns. Given how he performed so far, it's highly possible that his days as a part of the Patriots may be coming to an end.

There are multiple teams that would want him in their team. The Los Angeles Chargers would be willing to give him a blank check just to get him to the team. 2020 is promising to become an offseason to remember for many football fans.
