New England Patriots defensive back Patrick Chung went to Instagram on Saturday. He updated his fans that the arm surgery he underwent was successful.

In the video, he stated while waving his surgically repaired arm up and down in its sling:

“Surgery is good, fellows.. I’m right back, I’m right back, I’m right back… S–t kinda hurt.”

When Chung went down during the Super Bowl, it was clear that he was very hurt. He was crying out in pain after collapsing to the ground. His arm got caught between two players during a tackle, a very unfortunate situation for Chung.

Chung also needs a second surgery on his shoulder and is expected to miss the team's OTAs. However, he should be geared up and ready to go for training camp.

Chung's injury didn't stop the Patriots. They were able to cling on a 13-3 victory in a defensive battle for the Super Bowl win. This was the sixth win in the Tom Brady/Brian Belichick era. Even though Brady didn't have his best Super Bowl performance, the team was able to shut down Jared Goff and the Rams to the tune of one field goal.

Chung has been a vital part of the Patriots defense. The 10th-year NFL veteran started 14 games for the team at safety this past year. He collected a total of 84 tackles, three pass deflections, and one interception. The strong safety during the playoffs had seven tackles and one pass deflection as well.

Hopefully, there are no complications from his injury and he'll recover smoothly.
