New England Patriots wide receiver Jacobi Meyers scored the first touchdown of his NFL career Sunday. During the postgame press conference, his reaction spoke volumes.

“The fact that everybody celebrated with me, it means more than the touchdown. I feel like it says a lot about your teammates… I know they've been waiting on it, they've been real patient… throwing touchdowns is definitely a little bit more fun.”

Meyers was signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2019. Sunday marked his 38th game played for the Patriots.

It's been a long time coming for Jacobi Meyers. He has been close to scoring many times in his three years in the NFL. Finally, on Sunday he caught his first touchdown pass.

It has been a topic of discussion within the Patriots organization and fans alike. When will Jacobi Meyers finally score.

With the Patriots leading the Cleveland Browns 38-7 in the 4th quarter, the Pats offense kept the foot on the gas pedal. Meyers hauled in an 11-yard touchdown pass from backup quarterback Brian Hoyer.

The Patriots crushed the Browns in a pivotal AFC matchup. With the win, New England improved to 6-4 and has won four straight games. Meanwhile, the Browns drop to 5-5 on the season.

Up next for the Patriots is a trip to Atlanta vs the Falcons, as New England looks to stay in the AFC East race. Cleveland, following the deflating loss, will go back to the drawing board before taking on the winless Detroit Lions next week.
