Since the disappointing loss in Super Bowl 52, there has been some question as to what reigning league MVP Tom Brady's status is for the 2018 campaign. He has silenced that chatter after showing up for mandatory OTAs last month.

With that in mind, Brady has once again made it clear her commitment to the team as he pointed out via Instagram that he would be showing up early to training camp later this month (h/t Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk).

The Patriots’ Instagram posted a picture of Brady with a caption noting that camp starts in six days, Brady posted a comment saying he’ll actually be there in two days, along with other players who report early.

Brady is set to enter his 19th season in the league with eyes toward returning to the Super Bowl for the third straight appearance on that stage and ninth time over in his career. There has been no decline in his performance on the field despite now being in his 40s at the tail end of playing days.

He is coming off a coming off a campaign where he helped guide New England to the best record in the league largely behind his production posting an NFL-best 4,577 passing yards while being third with 32 passing touchdowns, a 102.8 passer rating, and fifth with a 66.3 completion percentage.

This includes surpassing 300 passing yards six times while posting multiple touchdown passes 10 times along with holding a passer rating above 100 eight on eight occasions. He was also the leading factor of the AFC’s highest-scoring offense at 28.6 points per game and led the NFL in total offense with 394.2 yards per contest.

With Brady committed to another season in his illustrious career could set the table for yet another impressive campaign in 2018 while leading the charge offensively for the Patriots.
