Listen up, NFL media. Gronk is coming after you.

That's right, Rob Gronkowski, the All-Pro New England Patriots tight end, put the media on blast recently as it pertains “fake news.” After reports surfaced on Friday claiming that Gronk was on the verge of having to move to another city after finding himself traded, he decided to put those thoughts on center stage at a youth football camp.

“It just shows how much fakes news is out there,” Gronkowski told reporters, via CBS Boston. “Hashtag fake news, that’s all I know. It’s true. It exists. See it all the time about me. It’s wild.”

Gronkowski, 29, is smack in the midst of the most tumultuous offseason of his career. Coming off a 2017 season that saw the future Hall of Famer accumulate 1,084 yards and eight scores on 69 total grabs in 14 total games, Gronkowski opened up publicly about his consideration towards retirement.

Now, he's dealing with trade rumors—so specific that the San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans were mentioned as having deals in place, according to Adam Kurkjian of the Boston Herald.

After asked about the specific rumor involving Bill Belichick wanting to trade Gronk but Tom Brady threatened to retire if it happened, Gronk joked about his quarterback in glowing fashion.

“What a nice guy,” Gronkowski joked about Brady. “But I haven’t talked to him. I didn’t even know about it until last night. Fake news.”

Fake news or not, Rob Gronkowski still has no idea what's going on in the Pats front office and whether or not he'll be traded prior to the 2018 NFL season.

“I have no clue,” Gronkowski said.

The five-time Pro Bowl and four-time First-Team All-Pro tight end will continue prepping for his ninth NFL season with the New England Patriots—unless something very real goes down.
