Rob Gronkowski might really be retired after all. Once the tight end announced his decision to retire from football and the New England Patriots, rumors immediately swirled of a potential comeback. Seemingly nobody believed that Gronk was really done for good, and even his agent speculated about a possible comeback.

The only one who hasn't been talking about a comeback has been Gronk himself, who has consistently emphasized that he's done playing. Now because of a recent video shared of him, people might start to believe him. A recent video shared by Showtime shows Gronkowski looking noticeably slimmed down from his playing days, per Henry McKenna of the Patriots Wire.

In the video from a red carpet, Gronk seems to have lost a considerable amount of weight. It's only been a handful of months since the legendary tight end decided to hang up his cleats, but he does look a lot different. At this point, he'd have to spend a while bulking up if he wanted to come back.

It seems like he's genuinely enjoying retirement, and a comeback looks pretty far from his mind right now. That being said, he's still only 30, so there's plenty of time for him to change his mind.

Even if Gronk never plays another snap, he'll still go down as one of, if not the, best tight end in NFL history. He didn't have his best season statistically last year, but he came up huge in the playoffs and was a massive part of the Patriots' latest Super Bowl win.
