Will New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski call it a career? We might know very soon.

On Tuesday, Gronkowski's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, took to ESPN's NFL Live to give us a little update.

“He’s thinking it through, he’s giving it a lot of thought,” said Rosenhaus. “I imagine a decision will happen in the next couple of weeks.”

Gronkowski is just 29 years old, but he looked like a shell of himself for most of this season.

On the year, he hauled in 47 receptions for 682 yards and three touchdowns, and while those are fine numbers for most other tight ends, they are a far cry from what we are used to from Gronkowski.

The five-time Pro Bowler has battled a myriad of injuries throughout the course of his career, and this year, it was more obvious than ever that all of the injuries had taken their toll.

Gronkowski has not played a full 16-game campaign since his second season in the league back in 2011, and over the last three years, he has only played in 35 of a possible 48 games.

The Amherst, N.Y. native did have a great showing in the playoffs, however, catching 13 passes for 191 yards. Most of that production came in the AFC Championship Game and the Super Bowl, where Gronkowski made a handful of huge receptions that set the Patriots up for critical touchdowns.

Gronkowski, who played his collegiate football at the University of Arizona, was originally selected by New England in the second round (42nd pick overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft.
