If you ask Robert Griffin III, among all the rookie QBs who had significant playing time in 2021, it's pretty clear who's going to win the Super Bowl first: New England Patriots rising star Mac Jones.

RGIII noted that the Patriots' defense and Jones' confidence with a year of NFL football under his belt give the young QB an advantage over his peers. The former NFL star also predicted that Jones will only improve next season as he expects him to “stretch the field more.”

“Mac Jones is MOST LIKELY to win a ring FIRST of the rookie QBs who played serious time last year. Bill Belichick and the Patriots are defensive masterminds, out coach other teams and Mac Attack will stretch the field more after last year has his confidence on ROLL TIDE LEVELS,” Griffin wrote on Twitter.

Now that is some bold take from Robert Griffin III. However, it is easy to see where he is coming from. The Patriots committed with Mac Jones right from the start, and that should only speed up his growth and development as a star-level QB.

While he did have his struggles, Jones is also lucky to end up in a franchise that is known to have produced the best QB the NFL has ever seen in Tom Brady. The Patriots have an environment built by success, and there is no doubt Jones is in the best place if he aspires to become the best not only in his draft class but also in the NFL.
