Stephen A. Smith doesn't think Tom Brady is going anywhere.

Speaking on ESPN First Take on Monday morning, Smith said that he feels Brady will return to the New England Patriots and that the probability of him returning becomes more and more likely as time passes.

Smith notes that Brady doesn't really have many other options.

He could go to the Los Angeles Chargers in place of Philip Rivers, but this is a Chargers team that won five games this past season. With Brady's main priority being contending for a Super Bowl, would heading to Los Angeles really be the wisest move?

As far as other potential landing spots, you have clubs like the Las Vegas Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the former of whom seem fairly comfortable with Derek Carr heading into 2020, and the latter of whom seem rather far away from contending for a championship.

Perhaps the Chicago Bears could come calling, but the Bears would represent a very similar situation to what Brady had in New England this past year: a dominant defense but not a whole lot of weapons to utilize offensively.

Really, all the Pats need to do is put some more pieces around Brady, and they should be just fine.

The 2019-20 campaign represented arguably Brady's weakest collection of offensive talent in quite some time, and with Brady going on 43 years old, he certainly needs more help heading into next season.

Of course, no one knows for sure what is going on in Foxborough, but Brady re-joining the Patriots next month seems to be the most likely conclusion.
