Earlier this summer, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski had his home broken into while he was away with the team playing in the Super Bowl. A Tewksbury man has since been arrested and is being charged with the crime.

According to Jim Hand of The Sun Chronicle, the man that was involved in the situation was wearing a t-shirt that had a Patriots logo on it at his arraignment.

Bail was set at $100,000 Wednesday for a Tewksbury man charged with breaking into the home of New England Patriot star Rob Gronkowski while the tight end was away playing in the Super Bowl.

Wearing a T-shirt with a Patriots logo on it, Shane Denn, 26, made a brief appearance for his arraignment at Wrentham District Court.

This is quite a strange way of handling the situation for Denn, who decided it was a good idea to put on a Patriots shirt to court for his alleged crime of burglarizing Gronkowski's home back in February. He allegedly stole three handguns, Rolex and Appeal watches, and two antique coins during in incident. There are also two other men charged in the connection with the break-in at the Patriots tight end's home

It could have been a much more disastrous situation for the 29-year-old that could have seen him get harmed in the incident had he been home. Instead, this should put a quick end to the matter in what was an all-too-common type of situation that many professional athletes and other public figures experience while away for longer durations of time.
