The reported feud between Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, while both were with the New England Patriots, has been a bit overblown this offseason. Terry Bradshaw, a Hall of Fame quarterback himself, is tired of the ‘soap opera' surrounding Brady and Belichick.

“I’m a little bit tired of this soap opera that’s going on between [Tom Brady] and [Bill] Belichick.

“He left because he wanted to prove something, and he wants to prove to everyone he can win without Bill Belichick,” Bradshaw said, via 93.7 The Fan. “In between all that, you say all the wonderful things. ‘I know he respects me. He knows I like him. We get along great. But after 20 years, I’m leaving.’ You’ve got to be kidding me.”

“Now he’s going to Tampa Bay and he’s going to prove to us what he’s whatever he is… It’s like, golly, geez-Louise, get this over with.”

Early in free agency, Brady shared that he wasn't going to be returning to the Patriots next season. Rather than play with the team that drafted him in 2000, Brady decided to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

After Brady surprised everyone by leaving the Patriots, it was reported that Brady and Belichick didn't see eye-to-eye in recent seasons. As a matter of fact, the two reportedly had an emotional situation involving Brady's contract in 2017.

Of course, like a sibling relationship, Brady and Belichick sometimes grew tired of each other's presence. Nevertheless, Brady shared on the Howard Stern Show earlier this week that he appreciated having Belichick as his coach. Even though they likely had their disagreements at times, the saga between Brady and Belichick seems to be a bit exaggerated.
