The New England Patriots are heavy favorites going into the AFC Conference Championship Game versus the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. One of the main reasons is due to their clear advantage at the quarterback position.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars' edge in this game undoubtedly lies with their defense. Unfortunately, history shows that may not be a factor. According to ESPN Stats & Info, Brady is 3-0 against the league's top-2 scoring defenses in his playoff career:

The news certainly deals a blow to Jacksonville fans. It goes without saying that their defense has been the backbone of the team's success throughout the 2017 NFL season and in the playoffs. That said, it was supposed to be their saving grace in a matchup with the reigning Super Bowl champs.

Unfortunately, it seems Brady has a knack for bringing his A-game against New England's most formidable opponents. The star quarterback has faced off against the No. 2 scoring defense in football three times in his playoff career. Two of which came in the Super Bowl versus the Philadelphia Eagles in 2004 and the Seattle Seahawks in 2014. The other came against the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2004 as well. Needless to say, Brady was stellar in all three games in which he led the Patriots to victory.

Fortunately, Jacksonville has not shown too much concern with the odds that are stacked against them. There has been plenty of buzz leading up to the game, especially with the Patriots' recent injury report. However, the Jaguars and their top defense seem intent on handing Brady his first such loss, regardless of the current circumstances.
