The New England Patriots might currently be sporting the best wide receiver group in NFL history. With future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady still leading the way under center, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick recently added even more firepower to the mix by way of adding former Pittsburgh Steelers and Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown via free agency.

With Brown failing to play in the Patriots' Week 1 drubbing of the aforementioned Steelers due to the fact that he was just acquired one day prior, Brady is already all set to get to work with his latest toy as the clock appears to be ticking.

Of course, everyone and their mother now knows about Brown's brief stint in Oakland, a saga that came to an end only two days before the Raiders were set to open the 2019 regular season. With Oakland previously giving up multiple draft picks in order to acquire Brown from the Steelers, the Patriots didn't have to give up a thing as the troubled wide out became available through the free agent market over the weekend.

Brown will now be added to a Patriots offense that is ridiculously stacked—which may still be an understatement. In addition to Brown, New England is sporting the likes of Demaryius Thomas, Josh Gordon, Julian Edelman, Phillip Dorsett, and injured rookie N'Keal Harry at the wide receiver position. Not only that, but the Patriots have a slew of tight ends and a running back tandem of James White and Sony Michel to round out the team's potent offensive attack.
