New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is extremely focused on the task at hand in regards to this week's matchup with division rival Miami Dolphins.

According to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, Brady gave his thoughts on this week's matchup with Miami.

“I think it’s just that it’s got to be a mindset. … I think they use that climate as a benefit to them, just like we use ours as a benefit to us,” Brady said. We’re out there practicing, we’re used to — I know exactly how many layers I need to put on per degree, how many heat packs I need and that’s just the way it is. I’m sure they do the same. Us going down there and playing good football — ultimately that’s the opponent is the Dolphins and not the climate. Playing a good football game is definitely what this week’s about for us and we can’t expect to go out there and play less than our best and win. We should be playing our best — it’s that time of year.”

Although Brady has had success against the Dolphins, as he has had with just about every team in the league. Brady would be kidding himself if he did not take the Dolphins seriously considering they sit at second place in the AFC East. The Dolphins were one of the few teams to beat the Patriots last season, and Miami has shown some promising strides in certain aspects of their game.

Miami has a strong defense, but unfortunately, the offense has struggled, and when a team faces a team like the New England Patriots there is no room for mistakes.
