The New England Patriots behind another comeback win in the NFL playoffs are headed to their second straight Super Bowl appearance following a 24-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Championship Game.
New England was able to accomplish this feat with a strong finish to the game led by three-time Super Bowl MVP quarterback Tom Brady put together a couple of crucial touchdown scoring drives in the fourth quarter. According to ESPN Stats & Info, it marked Brady's 10th career playoff game-winning drive.
Tom Brady has 10 career postseason game-winning drives in the 4th quarter/OT, which is double the next-highest player since 2000 (Eli Manning – 5).

Through the first three quarters, the 40-year-old difficulty stringing together scoring drive with just 10 points on the board up to that point. However, things changed in the final period as Brady led the charge with his arm completing 9-of-14 passes for 138 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Many of his throws were on a point and moved the chains.
One of the biggest throws came on 3rd-and-18 for 21 yards to veteran wide receiver Danny Amendola that led to the first of two touchdown passes to the 32-year-old, who finished the game with seven catches on nine targets for 84 receiving yards. The Jaguars simply had no answer for Brady in the fourth quarter that saw him continually make strong throws and find his receivers open down the field.
Brady is now in the position to capture his sixth Super Bowl win, which would create even more separation between him and the rest of the all-time great quarterbacks. He has found a way to continually have success in a manner that no other organization has had for this extended period of time that far extends over a decade.
What has been most impressive is that he has been able to continue to play at an elite level despite being 40 years old, which is a time where many of the greats prior to him saw their performance on the field significantly decline. Brady is in a company of his own with an opportunity to already add to his rock-solid legacy.
