Ahead of Sunday's game, Tom Brady made a surprise appearance on the New England Patriots' injury report. According to Ian Rapoport, Brady is going to be starting under center against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12.

On Friday, Brady was a late addition to the team's injury report with an elbow injury. Despite being named on the injury report, the injury doesn't appear to be serious enough to keep him sidelined for any games.

Brady has started in 166 straight possible games since 2009, with the only four missed games coming from a suspension with his alleged involvement in Deflategate. Before that, the ageless signal-caller missed 15 games in 2008 after tearing his ACL in Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

At 42 years old, Brady has defied the odds and continues to play well at the quarterback position. Even though, due to injuries, New England's offense has been on a skid over the past few weeks.

Over the team's past two games, the offense has averaged only 18.5 points per game. In those games, Brady has combined for just 501 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

In spite of the play of the offense, the Patriots are 9-1 as they head into Sunday's contest versus the Cowboys. This game could be a decent test for both teams as they try and work out some kinks on their rosters.

Many people in the media have begun to question whether or not Brady is beginning to decline this season. The future Hall of Fame quarterback will undoubtedly want to prove them wrong with a notable performance in Week 12.
