New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been to a few rodeos.

The six-time Super Bowl champion understands the NFL playoffs require the utmost focus and precision. As such, Brady was not overly sentimental on Thursday when speaking about Saturday's Wild Card game against the Tennessee Titans.

This is New England's first time playing on Wild Card weekend since 2009.

The Patriots missed out on an opportunity to secure the second seed in the AFC when they lost to the Miami Dolphins in a shocker this past Sunday. Although they have the home-field advantage against the Titans, Saturday is likely to mark the final game at Gillette Stadium this season.

Meanwhile, Brady's deal is over after this season, making him a free agent this spring. One of the most recognizable figures in sports could very well be playing for a different team next year, though the idea hardly seems to faze him as he prepares for the playoffs.

Are any of us really that surprised?

Brady is arguably the most ferocious competitor in the history of the NFL. This is the same guy that trash talks with the likes of Ray Lewis and Jalen Ramsey and helped inspire the Patriots' improbable comeback from a 28-3 deficit in Super Bowl LI. He is only thinking about his seventh ring.

Still, it is hard to ignore just how difficult this year has been for the veteran signal-caller. Brady still finished with more than 4,000 yards, but he dealt with a shortage of receiving weapons and injuries on the offensive line while also posting the lowest QBR mark of his career (52.5).

If this is indeed the final time that Brady will take the field for the Patriots at Gillette, he hopes the end result will be a win en route to another Super Bowl.
