The New England Patriots’ 19-14 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday was a bit more meaningful for Tom Brady than his close to 200 other regular season wins. With the victory, Brady managed to tie Brett Favre and Peyton Manning for the most regular season wins by a quarterback, with 186. That means Brady is a win away from claiming the lead all to himself

Against the Buccaneers, Brady racked up 303 passing yards and a touchdown on 30-of-40 completions.

Of the three men atop this list, Brady is the only one to rack up all of his victories with one franchise. Manning won 141 games with the Indianapolis Colts before collecting 45 with the Denver Broncos, while Favre won 160 games in Green Bay, nine with the Jets, and 17 with the Vikings.

Brady has already won five Super Bowl rings, and for him to still be tying, and breaking, records this late in his career speaks volumes on how successful the 40-year-old quarterback has been throughout his incredible career.

Including his postseason victories, Brady has 211 overall, making him the winningest quarterback in NFL history.

The soonest Brady could cement his place as the solo-leader in all-time regular season wins for a quarterback is on October 15 against the New York Jets. For the record, Brady has 23 wins against the Jets, the second-most Brady in his career against any franchise.
