New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was one of the few quarterbacks to not get called out by Jalen Ramsey this offseason by being overrated or being a bad quarterback and Brady is thankful for that.

“To not suck? I never want to suck, so I don't want to be in that category,” Brady said via 247 Sports.

Brady and Rodgers were the two pointed out by Ramsey for being good quarterbacks although Brady's teammate Rob Gronkowski did get called out by Ramsey for being overrated. Brady also went on to praise Ramsey saying he is a  great player and has all the attributes to be special.

“He's a great player. I mean, he's a great player,” He added of Ramsey. “Yeah, he's very talented – big, fast, very rare talents, rare abilities, size, speed. They match him up with the top receiver from time-to-time, and he holds his own versus everybody. So, he's a great young player.”

Brady and Ramsey did get into it before the AFC Championship game last year and this is the first meeting between the two sides since the Patriots beat the Jaguars to earn a berth in the Super Bowl. Brady knows it's going to be a tough task this weekend but is up to the task.

“They were a great team last year and gave us everything we could handle into the championship game, and they're at it again this year,” he said. “They've got the same players, similar scheme – I mean, as good as any defense we'll face all year. They've got an incredible rush, great linebackers, great secondary.”

Sunday's game could be an AFC Championship game preview and whoever wins this one will have a leg up on home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
