New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton had a chance to score the game-winning touchdown in Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills.

However, with less than a minute left in the game, Bills defensive tackle Justin Zimmer punched the ball out of the hands of Newton, forcing a fumble recovery by the Bills and giving them a 24-21 victory.

Even though the Patriots were missing a few key players in N'Keal Harry, Julian Edelman and Stephon Gilmore, they still put a fight against the Bills. However, they didn't come out with the victory, which they desperately needed.

Newton finished the game with 174 total yards and zero touchdowns.

This was a crucial loss by the Patriots, as they now own a record of 2-5. They are currently 3.5 games behind the Bills, who lead the division with a record of 6-2. The Patriots will be seeking to redeem themselves next Monday against the New York Jets.
