New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is arguably the greatest NFL coach of all time. He has six-time Super Bowl titles to his credit as a head coach and two more as a defensive coordinator during his time with the New York Giants under Bill Parcells.

Although he will likely go down as the greatest coach the league has ever seen, Belichick is not known for his outgoing personality of entertaining press conferences. Belichick is as stoic as they come and even though that can be dull and boring to most, it seems to work for him, but it also leaves an impression on his players like Chase Winovich who recently shared a funny story about him getting the call from Belichick on draft day, via Patriots Wire.

“It really was just a feeling of restlessness and angst because you have no idea what city you’re about to go to,” Winovich said on his YouTube channel. “Was I a defensive end? Was I an outside linebacker? When I got that call and it said ‘Massachusetts,’ it felt like I got a call from the Rolling Stones themselves. This day changed my life, but to Coach Belichick — it honestly sounded like he was just ordering pizza.”

Winovich definitely wasn't the first and won't be the last to have this kind of interaction with the legendary Patriots coach as he's sticking around for at least one more season with the team even after the departure of superstar quarterback Tom Brady.
