The New England Patriots are never afraid of running trick plays and they proved that on Sunday. On the team's first drive of the game, Tom Brady and Julian Edelman connected for a 37-yard touchdown on a flea-flicker versus the Kansas City Chiefs.

Josh McDaniels never seems to shy away from constructing a play that can create some confusion for a defense. The play began with Brady handing the ball off to James White on an outside-zone run.

But before White made his way up the field, he pitched the ball back to Brady. The veteran quarterback immediately set his sights down the field on a wide-open Edelman.

The sure-handed wide receiver got behind the secondary and was hit into the end zone for New England's first touchdown of the game. Without a doubt, the Patriots could use more plays like that to help them get back on track.
