The preseason is usually a time for the NFL's biggest stars to warm up in their pads before the actual season begins. That's exactly what Tom Brady and Julian Edelman did during their preseason loss to the New York Giants.

They stretched. They did yoga. All while wearing full gear.

The Checkdown caught the moment between the legendary quarterback and his wide receiver during their idle time on the sidelines during Thursday night's preseason finale against the New York Giants. It seemed like they were attempting a couple of yoga positions while their other teammates were playing on the field.

It's an entertaining sight for the fans that came out to see the two teams play. It also provides everyone a lens into the mental state the Patriots are in at this point of the season. After winning Super Bowl LII, Brady now has a historic six Super Bowl rings. He is still playing to win another Super Bowl but is more relaxed and in a good mental place to start the season.

Meanwhile, Edelman didn't get to play a lot of snaps this preseason until this game. He was tapped to play this game and ran routes alongside Josh Gordon and Demaryius Thomas.

They are still considered favorites to win the Super Bowl with the impressive depth Bill Belichick has built. And with Brady still playing like a football god at 42, there's little to no question that he could bring the team back to the promised land and win his seventh Super Bowl.

In the meantime, Brady can fool around and practice his yoga poses in the sidelines.
