Although the New England Patriots struggled to get anything going on offense throughout the course of their primetime matchup with the Houston Texans in Week 13, it appears they were at least able to end the game on a high note.

After being held to just three points in the first half, quarterback Tom Brady managed to secure the hat trick by connecting with wide receiver Julian Edelman for a 20-yard touchdown, via Patriots Twitter:

The Patriots needed less than two minutes to march down the field 94 yards for their third consecutive touchdown drive. Unfortunately, it was far too late to inspire any hope of a potential comeback after failing to come up with the subsequent onside kick attempt.

While it was not enough to get them the win this time around, New England can take solace in the fact that they were finally able to get their rhythm going on offense following an underwhelming performance in the 2019 NFL season.

The Patriots will need to carry that momentum into Week 14 if they hope to get back into the win column against the Kansas City Chiefs.
