New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has struggled to find the end zone over the last several games. Fortunately, wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson was able to help him do so against the Miami Dolphins in Week 14.

The Patriots had gotten off to a slow start in a critical matchup versus the Dolphins. Brady was able to get the offense on the scoreboard with a magnificent throw to Patterson, via NFL Twitter:

It is no secret that threading the needle is what Brady does best. Despite his struggles, it is clear that he has not lost his touch. More importantly, it appears as though the veteran has started to find a rhythm going into the final stretch of the season.

There has been plenty of speculation regarding Brady's shortcomings this year. He had thrown for just four touchdowns and an interception in five straight games prior to New England's matchup with Miami. Fortunately, he has been able to get back on track with a strong performance versus the Dolphins.

Brady managed to make history earlier in the quarter by breaking Peyton Manning's all-time touchdown record.

However, it is clear that he was far from being done after Patterson helped him add to his stat line. Although the 2018 campaign has not been his strongest statistical season, it has been riddled with impressive career milestones. He also finally managed to top 1,000 career rushing yards last week. While the records are nice, it is safe to assume that Brady is focused on adding to his Super Bowl count.
