Paul George‘s arrival in Oklahoma City was that of a king, as Thunder faithful lined up outside of his landing spot, warmly welcoming him with chants prior to his eventual introductory presser with the team.

But just like his reception, he expects to take the throne as the best-dressed in the team, challenging league MVP Russell Westbrook, who has defied every notion of fashion with his hybrid-European sense of style.

“I'm looking forward to challenging Russ,” George told the media, according to Brett Dawson of The Oklahoman. “There's a new fashion king in town.”

George has been known to be one of the sharpest-dressed stars in the NBA, whether it is his common use of a bow tie or the meticulous handkerchiefs he often rolls out to the red carpet.

Challenging Westbrook will be a matter of appeal, given his often unapologetic loud style and his odd combinations of fabric that have left most confused, yet in awe of his daredevil ways.
