It seems like Paul Pierce is looking for a fresh start after his recent IG Live debacle that literally cost him his job on ESPN. The Boston Celtics legend's clean slate is now going to come with a cool $8.7 million after he was able to sell his Calabasas mansion.

According to Jack Flemming of the Los Angeles Times, the property does not only have its own bowling alley, but it also boasts of an outdoor Celtics-themed basketball court. Pierce reportedly purchased the mansion in 2009 for $6.5 million. This was one year after he led Boston to a memorable title run in 2008, wherein Pierce earned Finals MVP honors.

For the rest of us, that's a quick preview of what $6.5 million will get you.

For what it's worth, Pierce is a native of Oakland, which explains his decision to purchase a home in California. He reportedly listed this mansion on the market back in November for $11 million. That price was clearly too high and he has since settled for nearly half of his original valuation. If we were to take a guess, Paul's recent jump into unemployment might have something to do with his fire sale.

The identities of the new owners were not made public, but they will now join not only Paul Pierce, but also the likes of Willie McGinest and Michael Jackson as the once proud owners of this not-too-humble home.
