Paul Pierce, one of the last few players of the 90's era, has decided he isn't done competing for another NBA title just yet. The almost 39 year old small forward plans to play for another season with the Los Angeles Clippers, making it his 19th season.

Pierce played a solid fifteen years with the Boston Celtics before being traded to the Brooklyn Nets in order for the Celtics to secure future first round picks in various NBA drafts. After a short stint with team and the Washington Wizards a year later, Pierce found himself on the Clippers, likely to end his career there.

With two years left on his contract with the Clippers, the former All-Star can use his final moments in the NBA to instill his wisdom of the game to younger players around him. This new generation of NBA looks too be incredible, so not having old heads around for practices, games, and even playoff appearances is bittersweet for long time fans.
