Recently, former NBA player turned analyst, Paul Pierce, was fired from ESPN after sharing an Instagram Live partying with strippers. The news rocked the sporting world, as Pierce's video came out of nowhere, as well as ESPN's decision to part ways with the former Boston Celtic.

It's a rough situation for Paul Pierce. However, Los Angeles Lakers legend, Shaquille O'Neal, can't help but laugh about what transpired, per Uproxx. O'Neal can be seen giggling after mentioning Pierce's name while on the set of the TNT Half-Time SHow.

The great thing about this video is it's not commentary on anything that happened with Pierce, it is literally just bringing up Pierce's name in conversation and Shaq immediately laughing, per Uproxx.

If only Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith were on set! The two likely would have joined Shaq in laughter, turning the show into a roast of the Celtics legend. Ernie Johnson would have done his best to regain control of the show, but it would have made for hilarious television.

The night of the Instagram Video was one thing, but perhaps what capped off his removal from ESPN was his tweet the day after. Pierce was clearly inebriated in his video, where it appears he's playing poker with strippers lined up behind him. The next day, at nearly 11:00 pm eastern, Pierce sent a “Good morning” tweet to the world.

Pierce is now jobless and it's unknown whether or not he signs another deal with a different sports broadcasting station. It's possible he finds a new job soon, but for now, Pierce is likely enjoying some time off.
