Davis picked up the injury during the Pelicans 103-93 defeat to the Portland Trail Blazers. The All-Star forward left early in the first quarter of the game after bumping knees with Blazers guard Damian Lillard while setting a screen for Jrue Holiday.
Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry confirmed that the MRI exam on Davis' knee came back negative, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The 24-year-old's injury is a huge blow for New Orleans, especially since he is off to an excellent start to the season, joining Kevin Garnett as the only two players in NBA history to average at least 25 points and 15 rebounds in their first three games.
The Pelicans will have more details regarding the extent of Davis' injury in the coming days, but their fans will certainly hope that it isn't anything serious considering the Kentucky product's injury history on his left knee.
Davis had injuries to his left knee during his 2012-13 and 2015-16 seasons, with both campaigns ending early for him.
