After playing in his first game with the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday since all the trade drama surrounding him began, Anthony Davis posted a message on his Instagram story in very small letters.
The Pelicans defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday at home by a final score of 122-117. Davis sat the entire fourth quarter and still finished with 32 points and nine rebounds while shooting 11-of-15 from the field and 10-of-11 from the free-throw line.
The superstar big man did get booed throughout the night by the fans, but Davis posted on his IG story saying, “It's all love tho! I promise.”

Anthony Davis loves the city of New Orleans and the fans. His trade request has nothing to do with the fans. He just wants to contend for a championship and Davis can't do that with the Pelicans.
New Orleans has won only one playoff series since they drafted Davis with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft out of the University of Kentucky.
A lot of the boos quickly turned into cheers for Davis on Friday, as he had a phenomenal game in just three quarters. This situation is going to be very awkward for the rest of the season.
