NBA 2K19 ratings are being released and just like every year, they are causing quite a stir. The latest rating released was for New Orleans Pelicans big man, Anthony Davis. The All-Star's mark comes in at an exceptional 94. He's sure to be one of the highest-rated players in the game.

Coming off a season where he received serious MVP consideration, Davis is looking to take his game to the next level. NBA 2K19's Twitter page asks whether or not Davis is the best big man in the league. He very well could be.

Davis is coming off a year where he averaged 28.1 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. Not to mention, he led the league with 2.6 blocks per outing and finished third in voting for Defensive Player of the Year.

The one issue fans seem to have with this rating is the fact that it's the same as Kawhi Leonard's. Davis is coming off the most productive season of his career and Kawhi is coming off of a lost campaign where he only played in nine games. Fans seem to think that Davis is being treated unfairly.

But regardless, both are two of the premier talents in the NBA. There are only a handful of players that should come in with higher ratings. LeBron James already came in at 98. James Harden, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant will all be higher, but after those players, is anyone worthy of a rating better than Davis?

Despite the pushback from some fans, Davis' 94 rating is a sign of respect from the 2K19 team.
