New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis had one of the worst games of his NBA career in Tuesday’s 118-88 loss to the Orlando Magic, ripping into his team's effort after a hugely disappointing loss.

The Brow mustered only three points, six rebounds, and three blocks while shooting 1-of-9 from the field through 24 minutes of play, leaving little room for words.

“We sucked,” said Davis after the loss, according to Andrew Lopez of the New Orleans Times-Picayune. “Nobody was interested in playing, that’s what it looked like. You play a team like that fighting for a spot, you should expect that to happen.”

“They came out ready to play. We missed a lot of shots, easy shots, layups and stuff, that we normally make. They came out more desperate. They were playing like we were fighting for something.”

That's indeed what it is. The Magic are only 1.5 games out of the last spot in the East and hoping to get into the eighth spot, while the Pelicans have already thrown in the towel and gearing up to full tank mode after Davis requested a trade.

They greased the wheels by trading Nikola Mirotic to the Milwaukee Bucks, and the wholesale won't end there, with Davis and plenty of his teammates likely to see the door this offseason.

Tuesday was Davis' worst performance of the season since a win over the Detroit Pistons saw him score six points, but block five shots before exploding for back-to-back 40-plus-point nights.
