Brandon Ingram of the New Orleans Pelicans has been cleared to play against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday.

To recall, Ingram did not finish their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday due to a head injury. He left the game with seven points in 13 minutes. He was then evaluated for a concussion but the results came out negative. Per Andrew Lopez of ESPN, the Pelicans staff monitored him further if he exhibited any symptoms — which he didn't.

So far, the 2019-20 season is looking like Ingram's breakout year. The 22-year-old is putting up 26.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. He's shooting 51.0 percent from the field and 50.0 from deep with at least two 3-pointers in every game.

In addition, Derrick Favors could make his return on Monday against the Nets. The forward has missed the last three games with right knee soreness. Zion Williamson, the first overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft, is still recovering from knee surgery to address a torn meniscus. He's expected to be out until December.

The Pelicans are 1-5 so far. Their only win is an upset over the Denver Nuggets, 122-107. It's an indication that this version of the Pelicans are very capable of making waves. They just need some time and effort to develop together.
