Chicago Bulls point guard Coby White has been playing against New Orleans Pelicans high-flyer Zion Williamson for years.

White played against Williamson in high school, AAU and college. He was part of the game where Williamson blew out his shoe when Duke was hosting UNC last season.

The Bulls host the Pelicans on Wednesday. White says even though it's a preseason game, there will be a buzz at the United Center since Williamson will be there:

In his NBA debut on Monday against the Atlanta Hawks, Zion Williamson showed off his nuclear athleticism on seemingly every play. The No. 1 overall pick finished with 16 points, seven rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes.

The youngster was dunking everything. It reminded Hawks and Pelicans fans of Dominique Wilkins, who is the play-by-play announcer for Atlanta and was a vicious dunker during his prime.

Last season at Duke, Williamson averaged 22.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game while shooting 68.0 percent from the field, 33.8 percent from beyond the arc and 64.0 percent from the free-throw line. A lot of pundits believe the Pelicans can make the playoffs this season with their revamped roster.

New Orleans acquired Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart from the Los Angeles Lakers in the Anthony Davis trade, traded for Derrick Favors from the Utah Jazz and signed JJ Redick in free agency.

The Pelicans will ultimately go as far as Williamson and point guard Jrue Holiday can take them.
