Former Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Josh Hart is questionable against his ex-team on Wednesday while New Orleans Pelicans power forward Derrick Favors is also iffy for tomorrow's matchup, according to ESPN's Andrew Lopez on Twitter.

Hart, 24, was included in the blockbuster Anthony Davis trade last summer alongside teammate transfers Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram. Hart, who's having a career year through the beginning of the early 2019-20 NBA regular season with the Pelicans, however, may miss his first chance to play his former team on Wednesday with knee and ankle injuries plaguing his return. The former first-round pick of the Lakers has missed the past seven games.

Favors, meanwhile, the 28-year-old veteran big man, has been inactive for the past five games with lower back spasms and remains questionable against the Lakers on Wednesday. Favors is averaging 8.3 points and 8.9 rebounds per game in nine appearances and seven starts for the Pelicans this season—his first with the Bayou franchise.

Hart is averaging 12.6 points per game while shooting 38.6% from deep so far this season. Earlier today, it was revealed that the 6-foot-5 wing was “surprised” by this past summer's Davis trade, which brought him to New Orleans.

“To be honest, if you look at all the trade rumors and all the trade stuff that got out, my name really wasn’t it,” Hart said. “There were packages. I’m sure my name was in some of the packages. But anything that got out, my name wasn’t in it. Even right before it happened, my name wasn’t in it. The only time my name was in it was when it actually happened.”

While Hart could miss his first chance at revenge against the Lakers on Wednesday, the Pelicans visit Los Angeles the first week of the new year and again in February 2020.
