Jrue Holiday has been with the New Orleans Pelicans for seven of his 11 seasons in the NBA, and he recently surpassed Peja Stojakovic as the franchise’s all-time leader in 3-pointers made.

Holiday accomplished the feat in their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night. Though the Pels came into that game with a terrible record of 6-22 (only one game ahead of the Golden State Warriors for worst in the NBA), Holiday’s record added a slight tenor of happiness to the contest.

Seeing as Holiday is fifth all-time in Pelicans history in win shares with 25.5 (per Basketball-Reference), he is also top-10 in a variety of other categories in franchise history.

Holiday is top-five in minutes played (12,735), games played (380), field goals made (2624), field goals attempted (5681), field goals missed (3057), free throws made (860) and attempted (1103), assists (2601), steals (584) and points (6661) heading into Wednesday night’s game.

Beyond leading the franchise all-time in three-pointers, Holiday’s assist total is second only to Chris Paul in franchise history, which is rarefied air for New Orleans point guards.

Holiday mostly trails three players on the Pelicans’ franchise leaderboard: Paul, his former teammate Anthony Davis and franchise stalwart David West, who played eight seasons with the team from 2003 to 2011.

Though the Pels have not had the season they would’ve preferred due to the injury to Zion Williamson, Holiday still deserves credit for being the most prolific 3-pointer shooter in franchise history.

Holiday and the Pelicans play next on Friday against the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center.
