New Orleans Pelicans teammates Jrue Holiday and Derrick Favors are listed as game-time decisions for Thursday night's matchup against the Denver Nuggets, according to a report from Will Guillory of The Athletic.

Favors, who is dealing with a bout of right knee soreness, did not take part in Tuesday's practice session. Holiday (left knee), on the other hand, was able to participate.

Favors' knee soreness kept him out of Monday night's 134-123 loss to the Golden State Warriors. As a result, Jaxson Hayes was allowed to make a strong NBA debut, scoring 19 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the field, three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one blocked shot in 24 minutes of action. If Favors is held out of Thursday's game against the Nuggets, Hayes could see even more playing time.

Holiday hurt his knee late in Friday's loss to the Dallas Mavericks. He's missed each of New Orleans' last two games due to the ailment, but it sounds like he's nearing a return. If he is indeed cleared to play, Josh Hart will likely see a bit less playing time.

Thursday night's matchup between the Pelicans and Nuggets is set to tip inside the Smoothie King Center at 9:30 p.m. ET, with TNT having live broadcast coverage.

Let's see if New Orleans can claim their first victory of the season.
