Everyone is excited about the debut of Zion Williamson, the first overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. He's set to play for the New Orleans Pelicans for the first time this Friday when they face the New York Knicks in the Las Vegas Summer League. One of the people who will be in attendance to watch the 19-year-old is his teammate, Lonzo Ball.

Ball was part of the trade package that the Los Angeles Lakers sent to the Pelicans last month in exchange for Anthony Davis. The second overall pick of the 2017 NBA Draft is looking for a fresh start in New Orleans, and together with Williamson, they will be looking to lead that team into the playoffs.

The Pelicans were able to acquire a ton of young players and draft picks in exchange for Davis. Brandon Ingram, the second overall pick in the 2016 Draft is also with the team.

Williamson, Ball, and Ingram are expected to play key roles in the Pelicans' rebuild, as they will be the faces of the franchise. Lonzo and BI were not able to live up to expectations while they were in LA, but a lot of people still believe that they have the potential to be All-Stars.

As for Zion, he's going to be a constant figure in the media this season. This is arguably the first time that a rookie is attracting this much attention since LeBron James in 2003. All eyes will be on him from this point forward, as he starts to build his NBA career.
