Bluiett entered the Summer League as an undrafted prospect. In college, he spent four years donning a Xavier Musketeers jersey. In his senior year, he logged in 19.3 points and 5.5 rebounds. He shot at a decent 41.7 percent from 3-point range.

Among his other accomplishments in college include being named into the Consensus second-team All-American in 2018, AP Honorable Mention All-American in 2016, and he's also a three-time First-team All-Big East selection from 2016 to 2018.

In four games in the Summer League, the 6-foot-5, 214-pound guard is averaging 18.3 points on 56.5 percent from the field. In his first two games in the Summer League, he tallied 50 points.

Speaking on his good performance, Bluiett pointed out the difference between college ball and NBA ball, and how it has given him opportunities to showcase what he can do. Per NBA.com, he said:

“Really, just a lot of space. When you're in college basketball, you feel like, for your team, you have to do more than what your NBA skill may be. So just kind of going out here and kind of exposing and showing my NBA skill.”

As a two-way contract player, Bluiett will spend a good chunk of the season in the G League. But if the NBA teams need him, he will be called up for up to 45 days during the regular season.
