Drew Brees' three young boys got to meet one of their favorite athletes at Wednesday night's ESPY award show: New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson.

Baylen Brees, 10, Bowen Brees, 8, and Callen Brees, 6, wore a set of matching maroon tuxedos to the event. As it turned out, those were the same colors that Williamson was wearing.

The Brees family paused with Zion on the red carpet for a few quick photos prior to the event:

“Boys wanted to fashion coordinate with Zion!” Drew told people.com. “Not a bad way to start the red carpet!”

Drew spoke about the meeting with Zion during a pre-ESPY's interview:

“On the way here the boys got to meet Zion wearing the exact same suit as Zion,” Drew told people.com, his sons looking happy as could be that they got to meet one of their sports idols.

“I knew Zion was going to be here and I looked up when Zion was born,” Drew added. “Zion was 1 year old when I threw my first touchdown pass in the NFL. So I think that’ll date me a little bit.”

The Pelicans selected Williamson with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. By most accounts, he's the type of player who can change a franchise. At 6-7 and 285 pounds, the 19-year-old has good size, but that doesn't mean he's slow. In fact, he has an explosive first step, and he isn't afraid to throw it down on anyone.
